The FHO Racing BMW team is ready to once again challenge the Bennetts British Superbike Championship, as the team unveils its stunning 2023 BMW M 1000 RR machines ahead of the second official BSB test this week at Silverstone.

This season Faye Ho’s squad will be the official factory supported BMW Motorrad UK team in the British Championship, as well as the Roads, as it enters its third competitive season after Faye’s team made its debut in 2021.

2022 was mixed in terms of results for the Louth-based squad, however their fortunes turned towards the end of the season which saw Peter Hickman back at the sharp end in BSB collecting a win, two seconds and a third place.

Joining Peter aboard the M 1000 RR is former two-time British Champion Josh Brookes, who over the winter has enjoyed getting to grips with BMW machinery racing in a Summer Night Series in Australia, as he aims to hit the ground running in BSB with a new team and a new machine beneath him.

The FHO Racing BMW team officially began their 2023 challenge over the weekend with the first UK official BSB test at Donington Park (25-26 March), which continues this week with a further two days on track at Silverstone (28-29 March), ready for round one which takes place across the Easter Bank Holiday Weekend (7-9 April).

Faye Ho – Team Principal:

“I’m excited for the 2023 season and so honoured to be the official factory supported BMW Motorrad UK team in the British Championship and on the roads. For what is such a young team this is a huge accomplishment and shows the hard work and dedication everyone has put in over our short competitive period. From the guys on the track, to those working behind the scenes, and all I do with the sport including the platform I provide for young female racers, it’s fantastic we’ve been rewarded with this from BMW Motorrad UK.”

“This year we retain Peter [Hickman], and he’s joined by Josh [Brookes], who has only really had a few days with the team, but it was clear over the weekend at Donington Park he’s already fitted in well, and you can see his determination to succeed this year.”
