The FHO Racing BMW team will return to full force with a two-strong rider line-up in the Bennetts British Superbike Championship round at Donington Park this weekend (1-3 October), as Joe Francis joins Peter Hickman to campaign the team’s BMW M 1000 RR.
Francis already has experience of BMW machinery and scored his best result of his 2021 campaign at Donington Park earlier this year with a fifth place. The Chester-based rider joins the team for the penultimate round of the season, completing the line-up alongside Title Fighter Hickman.

“I am obviously over the moon! I need to thank Faye and everyone involved for giving me this opportunity to join the FHO Racing BMW team and get the chance to ride the bike at Donington Park this weekend. It is a great opportunity for me to be back on a BMW and the team have a fantastic package, so I am looking forward to getting started.
“Donington Park is always a circuit where I have had some good results and in the past, even last year, it was the circuit where I have had the best results with the BMW. I finished fifth there earlier in the year, so I am looking forward to learning with the new team as they have proven to be race winners this season. It will also be good for me to have Peter as a teammate too – that is a big thing; I feel that I can learn a lot and I will be looking to progress throughout the weekend.”
