Faye Ho’s motorsport brand FHO Racing is delighted to be sponsoring Maria Costello MBE for the second consecutive year at this year’s Isle of Man TT Races, where opening practice is scheduled to get underway on Monday 27 May.
Maria will be contesting the legendary 37.73-mile Mountain Course in the sidecar races, alongside passenger Gary Wheeler, as well as competing in the Supertwin class onboard her solo machine.
In 2019 Maria made history where she became the first woman to finish both solo and sidecar races at the same TT event, and after a disappointing TT campaign last year, Maria will be looking to make amends with strong finishes across the two classes.

Maria Costello MBE:
“I’m delighted to have the continued support from Faye and the FHO Racing team again for this year’s TT Races. After last year’s disappointment due to the unfortunate incident of being knocked off during solo practice and being ruled out of the event on medical grounds; I feel like I have unfinished business, so I’ll be doing my best to thank Faye in the best way possible with the aim of showing my dedication by getting some good results. This will be my 29th TT start on a solo and my third in the TT sidecar class. I have my passenger Gary Wheeler by my side; we’ve had a few outings already this year in preparation and I’m pleased with the journey we have been on and really can’t wait to get out for first practice. There’s something really special about the TT, you can’t compare it to any other race, so it’s always a privilege to be able to compete there.”
Faye Ho – Team Principal:
“I’m really looking forward to seeing Maria back on the roads again this year, she was so unlucky last year not being able to race in the end. Maria works very closely with my team in the British Championship with the FHO Girls, so I’m pleased to once again sponsor her for her TT campaign.”
